Horribly incompetent property management. In the 8 months Haley worked for us, she ignored our phone calls and messages for weeks at a time (3 occurrences), she had no idea when leases were ending and failed to advertise the property in time, she had zero sense of urgency and awareness of the Cal Poly semester starting dates considering our empty rental, and when she did advertise our high-end new remodeled units, she only listed them on Craigslist. Haley has cost us thousands of dollars from inaction and it’s going to cost us even more trying to get good tenants to replace her mistakes.

Comet Realty was the property manager for a rental house I lived in for two years in San Luis Obispo. I cannot thank them enough for providing such a reliable, kind-hearted, attentive, and all around wonderful experience throughout my first rental process. Hayley is just the best! She is very responsive if any problem arises. When the pandemic affected some of my home's employment, she was incredibly understanding and ensured our rent would be affordable during this hard time. Hayley even helped me secure a new apartment when I was ready to move! You cannot go wrong here. 5 stars all the way!

Courtney Huckabay went above and beyond to get us into our dream home, she was sending listings daily and most importantly listening to what I wanted and showing me all relevant properties. It was such a relief and really kept me sane through the process how much she made herself available and how she helped me understand.. If she didn’t have the answer she found it, I didn’t have to wait a business day. I knew I could count on her to keep me informed and how much she valued me as a client. Comet Realty was the property manager for a rental I had last year and I had a wonderful experience with them during my tenancy. Any issues with the house were quickly addressed, and although, the house ended up being sold as our lease was expiring, they were very considerate to our privacy and made the move out process very easy. Hayley was always there to work with us if we had any problems what so ever, and I must say it was easily the best rental experience I have had in San Luis Obispo.

I have been renting one of the most beautiful apartments in downtown San Luis Obispo for 2 years that was managed by Comet Realty. I can't think of a better manager and property in San Luis Obispo!
