Called 8 times over the course of the week and no answer aside from the first time getting information on availability. Left a message, and nobody called back. It doesn't seem they communicate well at all. And they will NOT return your call even though their answering machine says they will.

If you are a Freeport-McMoRan intern and you want a chance a getting your deposit back, please read. It is very important that you read the contract and that you put the correct move-out date on it prior to signing. Make any other changes you need to on the contract too. Both you and the office manager, Copi, need to initial and date it, and get a copy PRIOR to moving to Safford. Chuck does not have the authority to promise deposits back to any lease shorter than 6 months.

If you leave prior to the date on your contract, the manager, Chuck, will promise you your deposit no problem. "Just let them know in the gym," he'll say. The gym will tell you they will mail your deposit back in 2 weeks.

When you don't get your deposit back, you'll call and get the office manager, Copi. She'll tell you that you broke your contract and you don't get your deposit.

We fought back and got a whopping $30 for our trouble. She'll take all of your deposit even if you are owed some it back. They charge rent per day until your contract ending date.

This happened to our daughter and four other interns the summer of 2016. It's a total bait-and-switch scam with how nice Chuck is and then they keep your deposit if you move out early. Don't let it happen to you!

Besides all of that, the gym is great. Lots of equipment. Trainers and classes are good. The apartment is a bit buggy, but you're not gonna find a better deal.

Great in terms of location, but aside from the perks of a gym membership, the cost of living is grossly overpriced and access to some units are not easily accessible.
