My husband and I first worked with Chris, Dorothy and his team 9 years ago when we decided to buy our first home. We were very unfamiliar with all the ins and outs of real estate and Chris spent a lot of time explaining the different things that we needed to know so we could make the best choice for our family. He also was very patient and accommodating with our requests to see multiple (sooo many) homes. We had 9 wonderful years in that home and when we decided it was time to get a bit more elbow room we called Chris again for his help. He and his team again did a wonderful job for us, we had a remodel project before listing our home for sale that was completed by a great crew that worked hard to make sure all aspects met our expectations for the work agreed on, the sale of our house was smooth and painless they did a great job on photos (Dorothy is the sweetest person and she came out to do our photos) and listings and the showings were easy. The most difficult part was the finding of a new home but that was just because we were so undecided on what we wanted and where we wanted to live this time, but again Chris was tireless in helping us find what we needed. He showed us house after house helping us narrow down, pick them apart and keep our main purchase goals in sight until we found the one that was best for us. He has great insights on both sides of the transactions and we felt as if we got a win on both the sale and the purchase. We're very happy with our new home and the experiences we have had with the 3 Point Real Estate team, Chris, Dorothy and everyone else in the office we worked with were very professional, caring people who really want to do the best they can to help you get what you want.

3 Point Real Estate & Construction is one of the best real estate and construction companies you'll work with in the Sacramento and surrounding areas. I have been a customer of Chris MacPhail for over 12 years. When i was interested in purchasing my first home in my early twenties, Chris assisted me with everything I needed before diving in. I purchased my first home in 2010 at the age of 25yrs old.
I have sold a home, helped others buy homes, home repairs for rental property (interior/exterior painting, bathrooms, roof, ceiling repairs, fire damage, fencing, cleaning services, lock smith, granite updates). I could go on and on with the help that this team has provided me. Anytime that I would call for help with purchasing/sale ideas, repairs, market updates concerns they're right on getting my inquiry handled from start to finish.
What I admire about Chris and Dorothy is their honesty/trustworthiness and that goes along way when doing business. I know a lot of people that have purchased and sold homes and their realtor has never been in contact with them since the deal closed. This company is there for their clients at anytime of the day/night with any issues, more so, they're there to help.
Very experience professional company that doesn't try and SALE you on anything but provides their professional advise and you make your own decisions. I'll end this review as a loyal client that wouldn't go anywhere else for my real estate needs.

Dorothy and Chris has shown me nothing but love, while I renting from them over the last 4 years, any issues I have with the property was resolved with a quick turnaround time. Any questions or concerns were addressed. I would definitely rent or purchase from them again. 3 Point Real Estate has some of the best property management services in town. The staff members there are friendly, polite, and professional which makes for a relaxed hassle free environment. They are really knowledge as well and always answer any questions or inquires I may have. They are always available via email or phone and their communication is A+. They let you know exactly what is going on at your property so you are never left in the dark.

To me, what really separates 3 Point from all the other companies out there is the fact they have a built in construction company as well as a real estate brokerage firm. Having an in house construction company allows them to handle any and all repairs/maintenance issues your house may need. This also means they can handle the repairs in the most time and cost efficient ways possible. The advantage of having a licensed real estate broker on their staff is limitless, Chris is extremely knowledge and I look forward to him assisting me in my buying and selling endeavors in the future.

This was my first time selling a home. Chris gave me sound advice on how to stage my home at a minimal cost.

Perhaps most importantly, it didn't take long for me to develop strong trust in the 3 Point team. They were available to me at any time to answer any questions, but I never needed to because they led me the whole way prepping me with good information in a way I could understand; usually in person or over the phone.

So happy I decided to go with 3 Point Real Estate as my broker. To say that Matt Johnson helped us sell our first home is an understatement.

My husband and I kicked around the idea of selling our home and figured we needed some expert advice on if when should, when we should, for how much, etc.

We decided to call Matt because 1.) he was a friend and 2.) we knew he was in real estate. We weren't really serious about selling at that point, mostly out of fear. But we wanted to know the possibilities nevertheless.

Our first meeting with Matt left us confident that he was going to be our agent. He told us in the first meeting that trust is the most important factor in real estate, and he was going to earn ours. And he did tenfold. He walked around our house, pointed out areas we needed to fix up even before we put it on the market, came prepared with stacks of comparable properties so we knew that the information he was providing us was accurate, and even told us we didn't have to commit to anything that day.

Once we decided to actually sell, Matt laid out his strategy for us. He was always transparent in his communications. He sought feedback from everyone who walked through the house so we knew what we needed to do to improve.

As far as his professionalism goes, he was always honest with his communications. If he said he was going to be somewhere, he was there early. If he said he was going to do something, he always made sure to follow-up with us afterwards so that we knew it got done. And if he didn't think that what we were proposing was the way to go, he definitely let us know.

Our escrow was a potential nightmare. A week into escrow, we had a washer malfunction that caused significant damage to our first floor. The first person we called was Matt because we trusted that he knew what to do. He told us who to call to get the problem fixed and managed to keep the buyers locked in through it all.

Another potential nightmare in our escrow was the buyer side. We had a VA loan we had to deal with and, in my opinion, an extremely uncommunicative agent on the other side. There should have been times where we didn't really know where we stood, except Matt kept on top of everything and made sure that everything got finished on time.

I cannot stress enough how important it is to have an agent who is responsive, professional, and easy to deal with, now that I'm on the other side of it. I honestly would have given up months ago on selling the place had it not been for Matt. I absolutely would recommend him to any and everyone who asks. You will not be disappointed.
